Project scope

The booming renewable energy industry has seen an increase of storage batteries lately. There are lead batteries, nickel-hydrogen batteries, NAS batteries, Lithium ion batteries and various types and capacities of storage batteries. Therefore their safety and performance evaluation is important.
The National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) was considering the introduction of an evaluation device to conduct evaluations corresponding to the storage battery characteristics of each manufacturer, and since we met their needs, they adopted our power supply system for evaluating storage batteries.

Features

It is necessary to generate various voltages and currents with high accuracy during charging and discharging for accurate evaluation.
The product has the following features.

  1. A wide range of current and voltage settings are available for small- to large-capacity storage batteries.Testing is possible up to a maximum capacity of 250 kW.
  2. It is possible to support various communications that differ depending on the battery manufacturer.
  3. The system can be installed as a single large-capacity evaluation system, saving space and simplifying the power supply system for evaluating storage batteries.
  4. The large power supply is divided into two parts so that it can be moved.
