[Power semiconductor] Large-capacity type added to products for power converters such as inverters
We have recently developed a large capacity type (current capacity 240A) for our diode / thyristor module high heat dissipation (high reliability) model as a new power semiconductor product, and will start accepting orders from August.
[Aim of release]
We sell diode thyristor modules that have better long-term reliability than before and are resistant to steep noise by using a unique gate structure adopted chip (thyristor part), mainly general-purpose inverters and uninterruptible power supplies (thyristor parts). It has been introduced by domestic and overseas companies for power conversion devices such as UPS).
In recent years, medium to large-sized power converters have become smaller and lighter, and power semiconductors are required to have the same shape and further expand their output capacity.
To meet these demands, we have newly developed a product that uses a special material with improved heat dissipation and has the same shape as the conventional 160A / 200A product but has a current capacity of 240A.

[New product features]
1. DCB circuit board * Contributes to high heat dissipation and long-term reliability improvement (twice as much as before [compared to our company])
By adopting a DCB circuit board, low-profile stacking is possible, and high heat dissipation (low thermal resistance) is realized.
In addition, the synergistic effect of double-sided solder bonding to the chip improves long-term reliability.
* A copper circuit board directly bonded (DCB) to a ceramic substrate. It has both the high thermal conductivity and high electrical conductivity of copper and the high insulation of a ceramic substrate.

[Future prospects]
Focusing on the medium-capacity diode / thyristor module that we are good at, we will gradually develop the high heat dissipation and high withstand capacity technology developed this time and expand the lineup of power semiconductor modules to achieve high reliability and high reliability of various Power Supply devices. We will contribute to high-efficiency, miniaturization and cost reduction.
