Started mass production of 600V withstand voltage non-insulated high-speed diode module that realized high reliability and weight reduction
We have recently started mass production of a non-insulated high-speed diode module with a withstand voltage of 600V, 2 elements, and a current capacity of 400A (200Ax2).
[Aim of release]
High-speed diodes with high withstand voltage, low switching loss, and low reverse leakage current are used for secondary side rectification applications such as welding machines and plasma cutting machines.
By combining a high-speed diode chip with our unique Techno Block packaging technology *, we have achieved excellent long-term reliability, high-temperature operation, and compactness and weight reduction.

[New product features]
Adopting original Techno Block packaging technology instead of our conventional potting type product
1. High power cycle capacity: 5 times more than before
2. High temperature operation is possible: Tj = 150 ℃
3. Compact and lightweight: 10% lighter than the current model
* The transfer mold method is combined with the structure in which the metal and the chip are sandwiched by solder joining.
Compact, highly heat-dissipating, highly reliable packaging technology.
[Main applications]
・ Welding machine
・ Plasma cutting machine
・ Plating machinery
[Environmental consideration]
This product complies with the RoHS * directive (2011/65 / EU and (EU) 2015/863).
* Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and ELECTRONICS machinery.
[Future prospects]
By expanding the transfer mold method package and lineup, which we are good at, we will contribute to high reliability and high-efficiency power of various Power Supply devices, as well as miniaturization and cost reduction.
