Participation in demonstration tests related to frequency control technology using storage batteries
January 2019 From the 7th to the 31st of January, we will carry out a demonstration test in which household storage batteries and industrial storage batteries owned by consumers are used as energy resources and immediately charged and discharged according to short-cycle load fluctuations in the power system.
This demonstration test is the first initiative in Japan to verify the technology that enables batch control of approximately 10,000 storage batteries that can be remotely controlled in seconds.
