In recent years, DIP (dual in-line package) type IPMs (intelligent power modules) have been widely used in the inverters of commercial air conditioners and industrial robots in order to achieve miniaturization and high reliability. I am.
We have developed the DIP type three-phase rectifier diode module DF60NB160 that can be mounted on the same printed circuit board as an IPM input rectifier diode with a capacitance band of 50 A or more. It uses an internal structure that greatly reduces thermal resistance and a copper heat dissipation plate, and is the industry’s first transfer mold package in the output 60A class. It has the same performance as our conventional module of the same capacity, but in volume. Achieves about 1/10. In addition, it achieves more than three times the long-term reliability (power cycle withstand capacity).
Equipped with a 1600V high withstand voltage diode chip with a mesa structure, it can also be used for input AC400V systems.
