  1933 Sansha Electric Mfg. established. Company managed privately by Yukio Shikata. Started manufacture of Choking Coil Auto Transformers for movie projectors.
  1937 Released the tungar rectifier for the light projector.
  1938 Launched manufacture of the mercury rectifier.
  1947 Started manufacture of the selenium element. Launched manufacture of the selenium rectifier.
  1948 Reorganized the company into a corporation with two million Yen capital. Released the selenium rectifier for the F type projector.
  1953 Released the selenium rectifier for light projection, "Super SanRex."
  1956 Received award from Japan Cinema Technology Society in recognition of contribution to cinema technology. Released welding machines for both arc air gauging and the direct current arc.
  1958 Launched manufacture of the germanium rectifier.
  1960 Launched manufacture of the silicon rectifier.
  1963 Released the Thyristor (silicon control rectification element). Launched manufacture of Thyristor applied devices. Released a dimmer for stage lightning and the rapid charger.
  1964 Released an inverter UPS system and an electric furnace power controller.
  1968 Released the Triac.
  1970 Released the rectifier for plating, "Mini Rex."
  1971 Established Suita Plant in Suita, Osaka.
  1972 Demise of the founder and President,Yukio Shikata. Masao Shikata is inaugurated as President.
  1974 Established the Sansha Electric Service Corporation.
  1976 Released an ultrasonic rectifier, and the digital electronic DC integrating ammeter.
  1978 Awarded the invention grand-prix and design award at Japan Inventor's Association for the ultrasonic rectifier.
  1979 Released a dimmer equipped with a memory device (microcomputer control).
  1980 Released the Thyristor module and the power Transistor for high speed switching. Released a rectifier for switch type plating (100 A). Released an apparatus for full automatic vacuum pressurization casting for dentistry.
  1981 Divided Sansha Electric Service corporation into the Sansha Electro component corporation and the Sansha Engineering service corporation. Released an inverter (VVVF) for alternating current electromotor control.
  1982 Released the power Transistor module, and the switching type welding machine (300A).
Awarded the inventor grand-prix and the Sasagawa special prize at a Japanese invention promotion association related to casting apparatus for dentistry.
Established Shiga Plant in Moriyama, Shiga.
  1983 Established SANREX CORPORATION in New York, U.S.A. and SANREX LIMITED in Hong Kong.
President Masao Shikata won the order of the Blue Ribbon.
  1985 Established Okayama Plant and the silicon wafer processing building in Nagi, Katsuta, Okayama.
  1986 Masao Shikata is inaugurated as Senior President. Kunio Shikata is inaugurated as President.
  1987 Established the Sansha Total Engineering Corporation and Sansha Business Service. Awarded the invention grand-prix and Fukuda special award at Japan Inventor's Association for the development of the welding machine.
  1988 Masao Shikata, Senior President, was awarded the order of the Sacred Treasure, and Gold Rays with Rosette.
Built an assembly plant for semiconductor elements at Okayama plant.
Released the power MOSFET module.
Held '88 a technical fair.
  1989 Released a high frequency PWM type medium capacity UPS-BACKUPS8800.
Released a UPS exclusively for the IBM AS400
Released a high-speed Diode module.
Changed the name to Osaka • Suita Plant, Shiga • Moriyama Plant, > Okayama • Nagi Plant.
  1990 Established SANREX WELDING EQUIPMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore.
Released a power switching supply (MTR) for plating and a low noise medium capacity UPS.
  1991 Released the Thyristor type alternating current power control unit UE1 series.
Released a planner type Transistor module.
Released an adaptor for cellular phones. Released UPS exclusive for LAN server.
  1992 Established SANREX EUROPE GmbH in Germany.
Released chlorofluorocarbon free cleaning apparatus, ASR300, for printed circuit boards.Absorbed Sansha Electro Component Corporation and changed its name to Higashi-Yodogawa Plant, Osaka.
  1993 Held '93 Technical Fair.
Released the IPM(intelligent power module.) Released vacuum washer.
  1994 Built Shiga Minakuchi Plant in Minakuchi, Shiga.
Combined the medium/small manufacture department of power resources and then integrated it to the Osaka Suita Plant.
Moved Osaka and Higashi-Yodogawa Plant to our Headquarter Plant.
Opened S-PERC (R&D center) at Osaka Higashi-Yodogawa Plant.
Shiga Moriyama Plant, obtained ISO9001 Cert. and Osaka Suita Plant obtained ISO9002 Cert.
  1995 Supplied UPS300KVA etc with short lead time due to the increased need caused by the Hanshin earthquake.
Moved our Tokyo branch from Uchikanda in Chiyoda, to Higashikanda.
Released the 500 A Thyristor module.Released the Static Var Generator (SVG).
Released the IPM, which utilized a large capacity switching IGBT.
  1996 Released a rectifier (DC-AUTO) for plating with a resin case.
Released 20 CE mark - compatible TIG and MIG welding machines into the European market.
The new four kw solar light generation inverter passed its recognition test for residential use.
Released the pulsed power supply for large YAG laser using the IGBT inverter. Okayama, Nagi factory obtained ISO9002 certification.
Released the vanadium battery power conversion device "220 kw" for power store testing evaluation experiments.

  1998 Established SANREX TECHNICAL SERVICES in New York, U.S.A.
Released the highest efficiency inverter for solar power generation in the field.
Completed the new headquarters and research building, and moved into it.
SanRex was registered with the AIPPI-JAPAN Japanese Famous Brand Collection.
  1999 Established SANREX ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. in Singapore.
Moved production facilities of Osaka, Suita Plant to Osaka, Higashi-Yodogawa Plant. Osaka, Higashi-Yodogawa Plant renamed Osaka Plant.
Disbanded Sansha Business Service Corporation and Sansha Career Service Corporation.
Released a charge/discharge device (built with an advanced measurement function) for lithium ion batteries in cellular phones.
Released the 250A TIG welding machine, the smallest in the world.
Released the 2MW D.C power supply for generating plasma.
  2000 Osaka Suita Plant is sold off. Acquired property for factory construction in Moriyama, Shiga.
Demise of Senior adviser Masao Shikata. Closed Takasaki Sales Office and merged with Tokyo Branch.
The UPS for Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) is delivered.
  2001 Completed the Wafer B Building for Okayama Nagi Plant.
Sansha Electronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. established in Shanghai, China.
An inverter for ADSL (digital transmission using existing telephone lines) equipment started commercial production.
  2002 Moved production facilities of Shiga Minakuchi Plant to the new Shiga Plant at the time of construction completion.

Dissolved Sansha Engineering Co., Ltd.
