Highly reliable fully digital UPS control

 Reliability and robustness are key requirements for the power supply systems running the crucial systems in our society. Air traffic control systems, traffic monitoring systems, banking, city gas monitoring, and stock exchanges cannot function on power supplies that fail.
 The latest UPS systems run in parallel, "Hot swappinghallows individual UPS components to be removed or added while the whole system is in operation, increasing the reliability of the system as a whole.

1. Great improvements in system reliability via parallel operation

Because the system involves UPS systems operating in parallel, a faulty UPS system can be removed without adverse effect on the power output of the system as a whole.

2. Simplified Inverter Unit

By reducing the number of IGBT units and parts, the units are kept simple, reducing manufacturing steps and cost.

3. Reduction of wires between devices

The complex wiring needed in conventional parallel UPS systems has been eliminated.

Once a great source of problems, we have added redundancy to the control power supply, making the system more resistant to unexpected problems in the control power supply.

A parallel monitoring board independent of the UPS with an output voltage monitor has been installed which immediately switches to the bypass power supply when an anomaly is detected.

We have added redundancy to the control power supply on the parallel monitoring board and have improved its reliability.
